A Cup of Zen

From afar I smelled the alluring aroma of enlightenment. When I drew near to drink from the cup of zen...the damn thing was empty!

It tasted ever so sweet.

Hands palm to palm,

  1. Reminds me of the first Zen book I read. Full of emptiness. It took me a while though to realize the sweet.

  3. Hey Ta Wan...I just noticed the ring in the bottom of the cup looks the Enso.

Thanks...my first zen book started with the story of Nanin and the college professor...and the empty cup. It's a story that sticks to you.
