Happy Birthday Buddha!


April 8th is the day most Buddhists celebrate the historical Buddha's birthday...so if you see Buddha today wish him a Happy Birthday....then kill him.

    How odd. I was going to work today and I got the image of a Buddha appear to me and I decided to hold on to it for meditation as the train journey went by.

    I was a little Taoist in my meditation as it moved to more of a sleep and I almost missed my stop.

    I have never done this before, that is: randomly get the image of buddha or anything really and hold on to it in such a way.

    Now I find out it is buddhas, birth/enlightenment/death day - how odd.

    One of the mystical twilight zone moments...awesome.

    My journey to work was beautiful. It is snowing here today and the woods are georgeous with white.

    Ta-Wan: Just looked at my April 8th Zen Calendar. Here is what it says:

    'If you conceive of a Buddha, you will be obstructed by that Buddha!'

    You missed your stop. I hear Twilight Zone music...LOL

    I know Rizal. Just writing it gave me mixed emotions...which shows my attachments and how it is important to see past them...kill them.

    hehe I must have killed him as I got to work on time :) If only he'd been stronger, maybe I would have had a nice day out further north.
